The Atlanta Silverbacks of the North American Soccer League announced the signings Thursday of midfielders Lucas Paulini and Jordan Davis and defender Tyler Ruthven.
Paulini played three seasons at Tusculum College in Tennessee before transferring to Virginia Commonwealth University for his final season.
At Tusculum, he has 12 goals and 28 assists overall and was named South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2007.
Davis played the 2006 through 2008 seasons for the Silverbacks' U-23 team and spent four seasons at Georgia State University.
Ruthven spent time in USL Second Division with the Harrisburg City Islanders and the USL Premier Development League for Chicago Fire Premier and the Colorado Rapids U-23 team.
He played collegiately at South Carolina and was named the Conference USA Newcomer of the Year in 2007 and was named to the all-conference first team as a senior.
