RSL Beats Crew; Moves Into Semifinals Of CONCACAF Champions League

After playing to a scoreless draw in the first leg of the quarterfinal series in the 2010-11 CONCACAF Champions League at Crew Stadium last Tuesday, Javier Morales had two goals and assisted on Alvaro Saborio's goal and Andy Williams added a point as Real Salt Lake took a 4-1 victory over the Columbus Crew in an all-Major League Soccer series Tuesday at Rio Tinto Stadium to win the aggregate goal series by the same score.

Real Salt Lake will now meet the winner of a series concluding Thursday between Saprissa of Costa Rica and Olimpia of Honduras, which Saprissa leads 1-0. in the semifinals.

RSL will host the first game of the two-game series March 15 at Rio Tinto Stadium, then travels April 5 to either Costa Rica or Honduras for the second leg.
