Revolution Sign 2011 Draft Picks

Major League Soccer's New England Revolution Thursday announced the signings of all three of their 2011 draft picks who were all third round selections.

Forward/midfielder Ryan Kinne, the 42nd overall pick in the SuperDraft from Monmouth, was a National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American, a Hermann Trophy semifinalist and the Northeast Conference Player of the Year in his junior and senior seasons and finished with 35 goals and 21 assists in 77 career games.

The 54th overall SuperDraft pick, forward Alan Koger, had 29 career goals at William & Mary. As a senior, he led the team to a number nine national rankings and to the third round of the NCAA College Cup and finished the season as an all-region pick.

Midfielder Andrew Sousa, the 42nd overall pick in the 2011 Supplemental Draft, had seven goals and six assists in three seasons at Providence, including four goals and two assists in 18 games in his senior season, after playing his freshman season at Limestone College in South Carolina
