The National Soccer Hall of Fame Tuesday announced six people have been selected for induction as part of the Class of 2011 -- former stars Cobi Jones, Eddie Pope and Earnie Stewart from the Player Ballot; former player Bruce Murray from the Veteran Ballot, and former coach Bob Gansler from the Builder Ballot.
No date or location has been announced for the ceremony, as the Hall no longer has its headquarters in Oneonta, NY.
Jones, who played for and coached Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy, is the US Men's National Team's all-time leader in appearances.
Pope, a three-time MLS Cup champion with DC United, played defender for nearly a decade with the USMNT.
Stewart was a member of three US World Cup teams.
Murray was a defender in the late 1980's and early 90's for the US.
Gansler was a former head coach of the USMNT and of the Kansas City Wizards (now Sporting Kansas City) in MLS.
