Lenhart Out 3-4 Weeks, Will Miss Team Opener Following Knee Surgery

Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquakes will be without forward Steven Lenhart, traded to the team by the Columbus Crew at the 2011 MLS SuperDraft, for three to four weeks and he will miss the team's home and season opener March 19 against Real Salt Lake after having right knee surgery Friday to repair a torn meniscus.

He suffered the injury toward the end of San Jose's 10-day training camp stint in England and was seen on an MRI Wednesday in San Jose.
