LA Blues Get Two Players On Loan From MLS, USL PRO

The Los Angeles Blues of USL PRO announced the addition of two more players to their roster Wednesday, both coming via loans.

Forward Chukwudi Chijindu comes to the Blues from Major League Soccer's Chivas USA, where he had a goal and an assist in 11 games after signing with them in 2009. He was loaned last season to Miami FC Blues (now the Fort Lauderdale Strikers) of the USSF Division 2 Pro League, but now in the North American Soccer League.

Defender Leonard Griffin joins Los Angeles from fellow USL PRO rival Orlando City Soccer Club, where he played in 2010 for the former Austin Aztex of the USSF D-2. Drafted 11th overall by the Chicago Fire in the 2004 MLS SuperDraft, he also played for the league's Columbus Crew and the USL First Division's Portland Timbers during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. He was later loaned to the Hollywood United Hitmen of the USL Premier Development League in 2009 before joining the Aztex in 2010.
