Matthew Delicate had a goal and assisted Bobby Fogelsong on the team's first goal as the Richmond Kickers of USL PRO defeated the Virginia Commonwealth University Rans 4-1 Thursday in a closed scrimmage in Richmond.
Stanley Nyazamba assisted on Delicate's 75th minute score and on newcomer Ryan Heins' goal two minutes later.
Evan Harding had an unassisted goal for Richmond in the 87th minute.
Joey Haboush scored the Rams' only goal unassisted in the 63rd minute to tie the contest at 1-all.
The Kickers will hold their final closed door scrimmage Saturday at Ukrop Field against the North American Soccer League's Carolina RailHawks.
