Joseph Tells His Side Of Trespassing Event To Boston Herald

In an interview Tuesday with the Boston Herald, New England Revolution team captain Sharlie Joseph blasted police in Orlando for arresting him for trespassing at the team's hotel February 20 while the Major League Soccer franchise held a phase of their 2011 season training camp.

Joseph, along with teammate Kevin Alston, were sent back to New England and suspended from the team, after the incident, but both have been reinstated.

Joseph told the newspaper he "didn't do anything" and shouldn't have been arrested, but also admitted he shouldn't have been out so late the night before a training session.

MLS is investigating the matter to determine if the league will hand down any further disciplinary action, in line with the terms of the league's newest collective bargaining agreement signed in March 2010.

Joseph said he just wants the league "to hear my side of the story" and believes he can't get punished for what he did.
