The Montreal Impact of the North American Soccer League announced Tuesday midfielder Patrick Leduc ha retired after playing all 11 seasons of his professional career with them.
He is third in club history in regular season games played with 222, starting 163, and is fifth in minutes played with 15,166.
He also started 15 of 22 postseason games and led the Impact to USL First Division titles in 2004 and 2009, along with leading them to the 2008 Nutrilite Canadian Championship title, which earned them a berth representing Canada in the 2008-09 CONCACAF Champions League.
Leduc ends his career with the Impact with 10 goals and a sixth-all time best 16 assists.
He played collegiately for four seasons at Farleigh Dickinson University.
