Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire announced the signings Thursday of trialist forward Orr Barouch and midfielder Mike Videira.
Barouch, born in Haifa, Israel and raised in Woodland Hills, CA, began his pro career at age 17 in the youth system of Mexico's Tigres UANL and joined their reserve team after graduating from El Camino Real High School in 1999. He scored one goal in 24 games that season and led Tigres' U-20 team to the Apertura title.
Videira last played eight games for AC St. Louis in the USSF Division 2 Pro League after playing two seasons with MLS' New England Revolution.
A three-time semifinalist for the Hermann Trophy while at Duke, he was drafted 18th overall by the Revolution in the 2009 SuperDraft but chose to play first for Hamilton Academical in Scotland's Premier League.
