Dan Antoniuk and Alex Sements had two goals each and John Jonke added another as FC Edmonton of the North American Soccer League shut out the Phoenix Monsoon, approved last week by the Professional Arena Soccer League as a 2011-12 season expansion team, 5-0 in their final traning camp game in Casa Grande, AZ.
The Monsoon replaced the Arizona Sahuaros as Edmonton's opponent after plans fell through to play them.
Edmonton will head to Manitoba this weekend to face off against another expansion team, WSA Winnipeg of the USL Premier Development League.
