Destroyers Name Dutt Head Coach

After spending the last three seasons an an assistant coach at Stetson University in DeLand, FL, Eric Dutt was named Monday the first head coach of the FC JAX Destroyers of the USL Premier Development League.

Dutt had also served two seasons as technical director of the FC Fredericksburg (VA) Gunners in the USL Super-Y League and was on the Virginia Olympic Development Program reprsenting the Virginia Youth Soccer Association.

He now is the staff coach at the Florida Olympic Development Program and is on the executive coaching staff for the Florida Youth Soccer Association.

Dutt graduated from the University of Richmond and led the Spiders to an NCAA College Cup tournament berth in 2001.

He later earned his Masters of Science in Sports Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth in 2005 and was a graduate assiatant coach on the staff.

In 2006, he played in USL Second Division for the Kickers, leading them to the division's regular season and league titles that season.
