Major League Soccer announced Wednesday the first round play-in game matchup between the Philadelphia Union and DC United will take place April 6 at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, MD.
The Union and United are two of ten teams that will vie for the final two spots allocated to MLS franchises as part of the 40-team field for the annual club tournament.
The winner of the game will face the New England Revolution in the next round of the play-in phase.
