Major League Soccer's DC United announced the signing Wednesday of goalkeeper Joe Willis, the 50th overall selection in the 2011 Supplemental Draft.
He played collegiately at the University of Denver, where he was a three-time First Team All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation selection from 2008 to 2010.
In 2010, he started 12 games, had four shutouts and posted a goals against average of 0.72.
