Major League Soccer's Columbus Crew Wednesday signed Serbian midfielder Dejan Rusmir, who has appeared in three preseason games this season.
He joined the team after spending the last two seasons in Romania for Farul Constanta, scoring six goals in 37 games.
Rusmir began his pro career at Belgarde's FK Partizan, where he played in 10 games between 2001 and 2002.
He transferred to rival FK Red in 2003, playing in 12 games over three seasons.
Rusmir first played in Romania for Cealhaul in their first division, scoring 10 goals in 53 games from 2006 to 2008.
