Defender Adrian Cann abruptly left Toronto FC's training camp in Florida Wednesday and will not be accompanying the Major League Soccer team to Charleston, SC to compete in the annual Carolina Challenge Cup tournament, hosted by the Charleston Battery of USL PRO.
Cann, in the second year of a current four-year contract, returned to Toronto after the franchise said he turned down an offer for a new contract, but also said he wants to negotiate further.
