Bravo For Bravo As Newly-Named Wizards Win First Game

Omar Bravo had a pair of goals in the 48th and 74th minute after C.J. Sapong needed only two minutes to score the opening goal as Sporting Kansas City, formerly the Kansas City Wizards, won their first Major League Soccer game under their new name 3-2 over host Chivas USA at The Home Depot Center Saturday.

Former Wizards star Jimmy Conrad, now the captain at Chivas, scored the Red & White's first goal in the 56th minute and Ben Zemanski followed suit with an 84th minute strike.

Kansas City will travel to the Chicago Fire this coming Saturday, while Chivas welcomes the defending MLS champion Colorado Rapids to town the same day.
