Brava For Bravo -- SKC Forward Named MLS' First POTW

Sporting Kansas City forward and Designated Player Omar Bravo was named the first Player of the Week for Major League Soccer's 2011 season Monday.

Bravo scored two goals in the team's 3-2 win over Chivas USA Saturday at The Home Depot Cemter in Carson, CA, the first game of a league-record 10-game road trip before SKC christens their new stadium, LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City, KS, June 9 against the Chicago Fire.
