The Charleston Battery of USL PRO announced the signings Wednesday of three new players -- goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra, defender Graham Dugoni and forward Seedy Bah.
Dykstra joins the Battery after playing 17 times for the last two seasons for Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire. He reportedly impressed Battery officials while playing as a trialist during the recent Carolina Challenge Cup tournament. Dykstra played college soccer at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dugoni attended the team's tryout in February, was invited to training camp, and performed well at the Carolina Challenge Cup. He won a USL Premier Development League championship in 2010 with the Portland Timbers U23s, then went to Norway to play for MjAndalen IF. He played collegiately at Duke.
Bah also was part of the trialists at the February combine after spending part of the 2011 preseason with the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer. Born in Bakau, Gambia in Africa, he played for their U-17 National Team.
