Carrasco Goal Gives Fire First Preseason Win In Florida For 2011

Servando Carrasco scored the game's only goal in the final minute of a 30-minute period as the Chicago Fire shut out the Seattle Sounders 1-0 in Major League Soccer preseason play Saturday in Bradenton, FL.

The two teams played a standard 90-minute game, then played the additional half-hour segment.

Chicago, now 1-1-2 in Florida preseason games this season, will next prepare to play Toronto FC this Saturday in the annual Carolina Challenge Cup, hosted by the USL PRO's Charleston Battery at Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston, SC.
