Wave Takes Sting Out Of Vipers Bite In Milwaukee

Giuliano Oliviero and Marcio Leite had a two-point goal and assisted on goals by Marco Terminesi and Hewerton Moreira, respectively, as the Milwaukee Wave defeated the Omaha Vipers 10-6 in Major Indoor Soccer League play Saturday at US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee.

Travis MacKenzie also scored a two-pointer for the Wave, who lead the MISL standings at 10-3. They met the Vipers again Thursday in Omaha, then host the Baltimore Blast Friday in another showdown for first place in the league table.

Andre Gustavo Sandre Silva had a pair of two-pointers for the Vipers and Carlos "Chile" Farias added another. Omaha is in third place in the league at 5-7, 4 1/2 games behind the Wave, and will host the Missouri Comets Sunday.
