Wave Roughs Up Riot At US Cellular Arena

Hewerton Moreira and Guiliano Oliviero each had a pair of two-point goals and Tom Oatley scored a three-point goal as the Milwaukee Wave regained part of the spot in the Major Indoor Soccer League standings with a 16-8 win over the Chicago Riot Saturday at US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee.

Matt Stewart had a two-point goal and an assist and Ian Bennett added a standard goal for the Wave, now tied for the league lead with an 8-3 record.

The Wave will travel to the Missouri Comets this coming Friday, then will return home for a game next Saturday against the Omaha Vipers.

Bato Radoncic and Semir Mesanovic had a two-pointer and an assist and Sandre Naumoski and Miodrag Djersilo also posted two-point goals for Chicago, who, at 2-7, are tied for last place in the league with the Comets (3-8).

The Riot travels to the league co-leading Baltimore Blast this coming Saturday.
