Terminesi Hat Trick Puts Wave On Top Of MISL Standings

Marco Terminesi had six points off a hat trick and Matt Stewart added five points on a three-point and two-point goal as the host Milwaukee Wave, despite not having three of their best players on the pitch due to a suspension, decimated the Omaha Vipers 21-6 Friday in Major Indoor Soccer League play at US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee.

The Wave played without Troy Dusosky, Evan McNeley and Hewerton Moreira, who all were suspended for Friday's game by the league office for their involvement in a fight during their game Sunday against the Baltimore Blast.

Kyt Selaidopoulous had a two-pointer and an assist and Joe Hammes, Josh Rife, Ian Bennett and Guiliano Oliviero all scored standard goals for the Wave, now 7-2 and a half-game ahead of the Blast, who they play on the road next Friday.

Frederico Moojen, Carlos "Chile" Farias and Victor Quiroz scored two-point goals for the Vipers, who are 4-5, in third place in the league standings and three games behind the Wave. The Vipers travel to the Missouri Comets Sunday.
