Majell Aterado had a hat trick, including the game-winning goal, as the defending Professional Arena Soccer League North American and US Open Arena Soccer Championship champion San Diego Sockers edged the host Las Vegas Knights of the amateur Premier Arena Soccer League 10-9 Friday.
Dan Antoniuk added two goals and two assists, Chiky Luna had a pair of goals, and Eric Wunderle had a goal and two assists for the Sockers.
Luis Suarez had a hat trick for the Knights.
The Sockers now head to the tournament semifinals at the Tacoma Soccer Center February 5 against the PASL-Pro's Tacoma Stars.
San Diego returns to PASL-Pro play January 29 when they host Revolucion Tijuana at Del Mar Arena.
