Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls announced the signing Friday of forward Luke Rodgers, who has played his entire professional soccer in England before now. most recently at Notts County, where he was led by current Red Bulls head coach Hans Backe.
Rodgers helped Notts County get promoted to League One, England's third division league, by winning the fourth division League Two title in 2009-10.
