MLS Announces Rosters For 2010 adidas MLS Combine

Major League Soccer Tuesday announced the complete rosters and coaching staffs for the 2010 adidas MLS Combine taking place Friday through next Tuesday at Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Over 70 prospects will be split up over four teams -- AdiZero, AdiPure, Jabulani and AdiPower -- to show off their talents to MLS team personnel prior to the 2010 SuperDraft January 13 at the annual National Soccer Coaches Association of America

University of Louisville head coach Ken Lolla, who led the Cardinals to a 2010 NCAA College Cup championship appearance against eventual national champion Akron, will be the coach of AdiZero with Rick Brownell of the Michigan Wolves.

AdiPure will be led by University of Tulsa head coach Tom McIntosh and assistant coach Dave Smith of the North Atlantic Soccer Association.

Team Jabulani will be led by Mark Collings of Seattle Pacific University and Brian Quinn of San Diego FC.

Finally, Team AdiPower will have Old Dominion University's Alan Dawson serve as head coach with Brian Doyle of the Council Rock Soccer Association and FC Bucks as his assistant.

Five members of the Generation adidas class recently announced for the combine will be unable to attend the combine, but will still be eligible for the draft.

Perry Kitchen, Zac MacMath, Omar Salgado and Zarek Valentin are currently in camp with the US U-20 National Team, and Darlington Nagbe will not be in attendance.

MLS also announced the names of 12 more players -- including, for the first time, five international players -- added to the original list of combine invitees: midfielder Paulo Cardozo of Uruguay, forward Victor Estupinan and midfielder Marlon Ganchozo of Ecuador, Argentine midfielder Martin Rivas and English midfielder John Rooney.

The additional seven collegiate players are midfielders Andy Adlard (Indiana), Charlie Campbell (Louisville), Alex Caskey (Davidson), Matt Marcin (Providence), Ben Sippola (Butler) and Chris Taylor (Tulsa), and forward/midfielder Ryan Kinne of Monmouth.
