Last Place Riot Outlast Blast In Villa Park

Novi Marojevic and Ante Cop each scored a three-point goal and Bato Radoncic fired off a pair of two-point shots as the last place Chicago Riot got past the Baltimore Blast 14-12 in Major Indoor Soccer League action Sunday at the Odeum Sports & Expo Center in Villa Park, IL.

Alex Megson and Erik Lukin each had a two-point play and the Riot, at 2-6, are tied for last place with the 3-7 Missouri Comets, 4 1/2 games behind the league-leading Milwaukee Wave, MISL's defending regular season champion.

Max Ferdinand and Pat Healey led the Blast with a two-pointer and an assist each, and Adrian Bumbut, Matt Watson, Pat Morris and Worteh Sampson posted goals in the loss.

Baltimore is now 6-3, a game behind the Wave, who they host at First Mariner Arena Friday.

The Riot then get the Wave at US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee Saturday.
