Labatt Breweries announced Wednesday they have signed a five-year partnership for Budweiser to be the official beer of BC Place stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, as well as their professional teams -- the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League and the Vancouver Whitecaps of Major League Soccer.
The deal gives Labatt access to both teams' logos and branding and also gains the brewer exclusive rights to media and signage for both teams' home games.
