Kings Edge Lightning In 2011's First PASL Game

Sam Fiore had a hat trick and Jeff Hughes and Kwame Sarkodie each added braces as the host Cincinnati Kings defeated the Louisville Lightning 11-9 Saturday in the Professional Arena Soccer League's first game of 2011 at Cincinnati Gardens.

Drew Ducker, Garrett Buck, Jeff Henderson and Matt Brienes each added goals for the Kings, who lead the Eastern Division with a 7-1 record.

Chad Hagerty led the Lightning, in last place in the division at 1-5, with a hat trick and Tony Jouaux had two goals.

The Kings hit the road this Saturday to play the defending league champion San Diego Sockers, but the Lightning are off until January 15 when they visit the Detroit Waza at the Taylor (MI) Sportsplex.
