According to OurSportsCentral.com Monday, Women's Professional Soccer has given the Washington Freedom approval to move some of their 2011 season home games from the DC area to South Florida, but has not said how many games will be moving there or if the franchise will eventually move there.
In a recent league press release announcing the first two weeks of the 2011 WPS season, the Freedom were referred to as "magicJack.com SC/Washington Freedom".
The Freedom played 2010 home games at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyd's, MD.
