Blast Dodge Comets To Share League Lead Again With Wave

Max Ferdinand had a three-point goal and an assist as the Baltimore Blast got past the host Missouri Comets for a 15-13 victory Saturday in Major Indoor Soccer League play at the Independence Events Center in Independence, MO.

Pat Morris had a two-pointer and an assist and Pat Healey, Lucio Gonzaga, Carlos Garcia, Warren Ukah and Guiliano Celenza all scored goals for Baltimore, who is now tied once again for the league's best record with the Milwaukee Wave at 8-3.

The Blast will play a home-and-home series this coming weekend with the Chicago Riot, beginning Saturday in Baltimore, then heading to Chicago.

Byron Alvarez had two two-point goals and Leo Gibson added a three-pointer to lead the Comets.

Lucas Rodriguez had a two-pointer and an assist and Bryon Perez and Jamar Beasley scored goals as well.

The Comets are 3-8 and tied for last place in the league with the 2-7 Riot. Missouri plays at the Omaha Vipers Sunday.
