California Cougars head coach-defender Antonio Sutton was named Wednesday the Professional Arena Soccer League's Player of the Week for Week 7 of the 2010-11 season after scoring two goals, including the game-tying goal, in a 9-8 overtime win Monday against the defending league champion San Diego Sockers at Stockton Arena.
The win snapped the Cougars' season-opening six-game losing streak.
He has scored seven goals in their last two games and, as a coach, has a record of 13-10.
