The Major Indoor Soccer League's Milwaukee Wave announced Friday they have re-signed three midfielders from last season -- Brett Wiesner, Kyle Lance and Tom Oatley -- to contracts for this season and traded midfielder/forward Alex Megson to the expansion Chicago Riot for future considerations.
Wiesner, in his fifth season with the Wave, had six goals last season and is 12 points away from reaching the career 100-point mark. He has played in 106 games over his previous four seasons.
Lance, who scored five goals in his debut season last year, previously played for the former Chicago Storm and set career highs with the Wave in all categories last season except penalty minutes.
Oatley, who finished playing the 2010 outdoor season for the Kalamazoo Outrage in the USL Premier Development League, had two goals and three assists in nine games last season for the Wave,
