The Ohio Vortex of the Professional Arena Soccer League announced the signings Monday of goalkeeper Erik Sebor and forward Tyler Johnston, both of whom played Saturday in a 10-6 loss to the Cincinnati Kings.
Sebor was a two-time All-Ohio player at Solon High School, then played collegiately at Ohio's Mount Union College, where, in 2006, he led the team in saves with 96, had two shutouts and a .787 save percentage.
He also played for club teams in the North Coast Soccer League (Concordia and Shamrocks) and the Lake Erie Soccer League (Donauschwaben).
Johnston recently ended his collegiate career at Ohio Northern University.
