Vercollone Re-Signs For Fourth Season With Kickers

The Richmond Kickers of USL PRO announced Wednesday they have re-signed midfielder Luke Vercollone for his fourth season in the upcoming 2011 season.

An All-League First Team selection in USL-2 in 2010, Vercollone played in 19 games, scoring a game-winning goal in a May 16 game against the Real Maryland Monarchs and assisted on a goal in a July 3 game against the eventual league champion Charleston Battery.

Vercollone was named seven times in 2010 to the USL-2 Team of the Week.

Before playing for the Kickers, he spent two seasons with the Battery, where he had three goals and six assists for 12 points in 66 appearances.

Vercollone was drafted by the Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer's 2004 SuperDraft, but chose to sign with the New England Revolution, where he played in five games over two seasons as a Developmental Player.
