At their annual Hall of Fame Banquet in Tampa Friday, United Soccer Leagues handed out their 2010 season Organizational and Executive Honors to deserving staff and teams in their three umbrella leagues.
The winners are as follows:
USL SECOND DIVISION
Regular Season Champion: Charleston Battery
Fair Play: Pittsburgh Riverhounds
Marketing: Richmond Kickers
Communications: Harrisburg City Islanders
Betsy McAdams Key Grip Award: Jon Rotz, Pittsburgh Riverhounds
Executive of the Year: Shelly Sowers, Richmond Kickers
Organization of the Year: Charleston Battery
USL Progress Award: Pittsburgh Riverhounds
These are the final USL-2 awards to be handed out, as the league has merged with USL First Division to form USL PRO, beginning in 2011.
