Tom Veit will step down as president of Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union at the end of the year to become a liaison between the franchise and its ownership group, Keystone Sports & Entertainment, the Union announced Monday.
Union CEO and operating partner Nick Sakiewciz will take over Veit's duties on an interim basis along with continuing in his duties with the ownership group.
