Three MLS Teams Make Seven Total Players Free Agents

As none of the players involved meet the age and service requirements to qualify to be selected in one of two planned Major League Soccer Re-Entry Drafts and none of them were selected in Wednesday's Expansion Draft involving the Portland Timbers and the Vancouver Whitecaps, three MLS teams made seven players immediate free agents to sign with whomever MLS franchise they choose.

Toronto FC cut the most with five -- Gabe Galo, Raivis Hscanovics, Miguel Angel "Mista" Martinez, Martin Saric and Maxim Usanov.

The new MLS Cup champion Colorado Rapids released Ross Schunk and 2009 MLS Cup champion Real Salt Lake released Alex Nino.
