The Tacoma Stars of the Professional Arena Soccer League announced the signings Wednesday of player-coach Greg Howes, midfielder Lukas Rydberg, defender David Vedder and midfielder Ian Weinberg.
Howes is a former three-time Major Indoor Soccer League Most Valuable Player. He also led the Seattle Sounders to the 2007 USL-1 Championship and has played in USL for the Rochester Rhinos and for the Milwaukee Wave in MISL and the Stockton (now California) Cougars in the PASL.
Rydberg, a graduate of Cascade College, played club soccer for the Dallas Texans.
Vedder previously played in the PASL for the Cougars.
Weinberg played at Western Washington University, was a club player with Eastside FC and Emerald FC, and starred with the National Professional Soccer League's Cleveland Force and Germany's Eintracht Trier.
