Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders announced Monday forward Fredy Montero received his Green Card, granting him permanent residency in the US.
He no longer can be listed on the roster as taking an International Player slot, but seven others remain under that status -- Alvaro Fernandez, Leo Gonzalez, Jhon Kennedy Hurtado, Miguel Montano, Sanna Nyassi, Steve Zakuani and Bliase Nfuko.
