The Rochester Rhinos, regular season champions of the 2010 USSF Division 2 Pro League, announced Thursday they have exercised the option years on the contracts of 14 players for the team's debut in the new USL PRO in 2011.
Four of those players were winners of team awards in 2010 -- Aaron Pitchkolan (Most Valuable Player), Troy Roberts (Defender of the Year) and Isaac Kissi (Offensive Player of the Year) -- with 2009 Rookie of the Year Tyler Bellamy also continuing with the Rhinos.
The other players to stay in Rochester are defenders Rich Costanzo and Jonathan Greenfield, midfielders Max Ferdinand, T.J. Gore, Alfonso Motagalvan, Tyler Rosenlund and Kenold Versailles; forwards Anthony Hamilton and Andrew Hoxie, and goalkeeper Neal Kitson.
The 14 join goalkeeper Scott Vallow on the 2011 team, as Vallow was signed through the next season.
