Millwood Double Leads Blast To Home Victory Over Riot

Machel Millwood scored two goals to lead the Baltimore Blast to a 10-6 season-opening home win over the expansion Chicago Riot in Major Indoor Soccer League play from First Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD.

Guiliano Celenza was assisted by Pat Healey on a goal and Worteh Sampson and Maz Ferdinand scored goals in an 18-seond span during the game.

The Riot got their first two goals as a franchise from Edward Santeliz and Semir Mesanovic also posted a goal.

Baltimore (2-0) next travels to the expansion Omaha Vipers next Sunday while the Riot (0-2) have their franchise's inaugural season opener against the defending regular season champion Milwaukee Wave December 5.
