George Davis IV, Sam Fiore and Jeff Hughes scored a pair of goals each as the Cincinnati Kings defeated the host Ohio Vortex 9-4 Friday in Professional Arena Soccer League play at the Canton Civic Center.
Kwame Sarkodie, Chris Dobrowoloski and Matt Brienese added solo goals for the Kings.
The Kings, now 2-0, host the Detroit Waza Saturday at Cincinnati Gardens.
Ohio, who falls to 1-1, will travel to Cincinnati next Saturday for a rematch.
Great game by Salvati in goal for the Kings. Hughes was also impressive, looking to be in MVP form again.
