Jeff Hughes, the defending Professional Arena Soccer League Most Valuable Player, tallied a hat trick and Matt Brienes added two more goals as the host Cincinnati Kings opened their schedule at the Cincinnati Gardens with a 10-3 victory over the Detroit Waza.
Five players -- Adam Reis, Chris Dobrowoloski, Sam Fiore, Eddie Hertsenberg and Drew Ducker -- each added a goal for the Kings.
Both teams will meet again December 5 at the Taylor (MI) Sportsplex, but the Kings will first host the Ohio Vortex next Saturday.
