Former California Cougars stars Aaron Susi and Majell Aterado scored two goals and an assist and a goal, respectively, as they led the defending Professional Arena Soccer League North American Champion San Diego Sockers to a 10-6 victory over the Cougars Sunday at Del Mar Arena.
The Cougars were led in the loss by Uriel Robledo, who also had two goals and an assist, and Craig Scheer, who tallied two goals.
Both teams will meet again at Del Mar Arena November 27 but, before then, the Sockers will host the Tacoma Stars this Saturday.
California returns home to Stockton Arena this Friday to face Revolucion Tijuana, one of several expansion teams in the league this season.
