DC United To Name Olsen Head Coach At Monday Presser

Major League Soccer's worst team this past season, DC United, will take the interim tag of former midfielder Ben Olsen and name him their next head coach at a Monday press conference, according to The Washington Post.

Olsen was promoted from assistant coach to replace Curt Onalfo, who came to United after being fired as head coach of Sporting Kansas City (formerly the Kansas City Wizards) and led DC to a 3-12-3 record before being fired in August.

Olsen led the team to a 3-8-1 record and the team ended with a mark of 6-20-4, their worst mark in team history.

At age 33, Olsen will become the league's youngest coach.
