The California Cougars of the Professional Arena Soccer League announced the re-signings Thursday of midfielders Nelson Santana, Craig Scheer and Uriel Robledo, and goalkeeper Jesus Molina for the 2010-11 season.
Santana, who will serve as team captain this season, has been with the Cougars since the 2006-07 season in the second version of the Major Indoor Soccer League. He finished last season in the league's top 10 in goals (18) and assists (13) over 15 games.
Scheer, in his second stint with the Cougars and his tenth season in professional indoor soccer, scored eight goals and three assists in ten games last season.
Robledo had six goals and two assists in eight Cougars games last season.
Molina was 10-3 for the Cougars last season, finishing in the league's top five in goalkeeping wins. This will be his third season with the team.
