Comets Sign Former Star Jeff Davis

The expansion Missouri Comets of the Major Indoor Soccer League announced the signing of defender Jeff Davis, who played on the 1997 National Professional Soccer League's champion Kansas City Attack.

Davis was a two-time All-Conference USA First Team player at St. Louis Unversity and was drafted by the NPSL's St. Louis Ambush, where he played from 1993 to 1996.

He then joined the Kansas City Comets/Attack, where he scored 241 points in 153 career games and was named to the NPSL's All-League Second Team in 2000.

Davis returned to St. Louis in the 2004-05 NPSL season, playing for the St. Louis Steamers.
