For the second year in a row, the Los Angeles Galaxy will host Major League Soccer's Western Conference Championship Game after David Beckham assisted on goals by Edson Buddle in the 19th minute and Omar Gonzalez in the 27th as they defeated the Seattle Sounders 2-1 in the second leg of their conference semifinal series and won by an aggregate score of 3-1 Sunday at The Home Depot Center.
Buddle scored the only goal in the first leg of the series last Sunday at Seattle's Qwest Field.
Seattle's Steve Zakuani was helped by former Galaxy star Nate Jaqua on their team's lone score in the 86th minute.
The Galaxy will now host FC Dallas, who eliminated the defending Western Conference and league champion Real Salt Lake by a 3-2 aggregate score, following a 1-1 draw Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT after winning 2-1 last Saturday at Pizza Hut Park, next Sunday.
