Galaxy End Season As League's And Western Conference's Best In Win Over Dallas

David Beckham scored a game-tying goal in the 33rd minute and Juninho had the game-winner in the 46th minute as the Los Angeles Galaxy officially won Major League Soccer's Western Conference regular season title -- and the number one seed in the MLS Cup Playoffs that came with it -- as well as the Supporters Shield for having the league's best record in a 2-1 victory Sunday at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA against FC Dallas, who lost two games in a row to end the season after going on a league-record-tying 19-game unbeaten streak.

Dallas took the lead in the 22nd minute on an Atiba Harris goal and ends the season 12-4-14 with 50 points.

Both teams now move on to Western Conference playoff matches this week with the Galaxy traveling to the fourth-seeded Seattle Sounders next Sunday, then hosting Seattle November 7 at The Home Depot Center, while Dallas, the third seed in the conference, hosts second-seed and defending conference and league champion Real Salt Lake this Saturday before heading to Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT for game two of their series November 6.
